Last Day Home
After today, it will be hospital time for Rene for at least two and half weeks. Since she is much stronger overall, she is making sure she has enough reading, DVD, and MP3 items to keep her entertained. Now that she is more mobile, she is looking to keep moving ahead and not take any steps back.
She will have the company of friends this evening to be with since I will be out performing with my blues/jazz group at a corporate function. Rene is not upset about this because it was scheduled in advance and it is at a resort less than 10 minutes from home.
She would like to get these final three tours completed as quickly as possible and her oncologist has tempered this. I guess he wants to make sure there are no surprises and give her time to recover in between! This is logical to me and since I am not the one getting the chemo, I need to be careful how I response to her!

Hi guys, it sounds like Tanta is improving and trusting her abilities more. I am delighted! We are praying that you breeze through this treatment with your new found strength. I miss you guys and Bara. Lots of love from the Dillards.
