Bloody Mess
Yesterday Rene managed to stubbed her left big toe. This resulted in a bit of blood oozing and her nurse scrambling to resolve it. Rene was upset that she was allowing platelets to leave her body after just getting a transfusion on Saturday.
Sore And Slow
Right now with her current condition, she does not have any mouth ulcers and she notices that her mouth feels tender if she consumes large portions of food. She is receiving her "Miracle mouthwash" which will protect against infection four times a day now.
This is not impacting her ability to eat and yesterday she enjoyed a "man's" cheeseburger from Fuddrucker's and a chocolate malt! She is not giving up on food until she has too! She doesn't eat fast to ensure that her mouth won't ache when she eats. Don't worry, she still has me getting her chocolate Whoppers...she is fine!
