Part 1
Rene is ready to seize the day. She had great night's sleep without waking up in the middle of the night for a couple of hours. She had an appetite for a "big" breakfast Southern style....aka grits with cheese and ham. She will have a "busy" day of getting a blood transfusion (5 to 6 hours) and her favorite new past time, another leukine shot!
Let's see how the day unfolds for her and I will update the blog this evening!
Part 2 - They Did Bring It On!!
Well Rene is back in the hospital again (check the side bar for the details). She is back because she got a fever with a temperature of 100.3 degrees! With her white blood cells being non-existence at the moment, she cannot take a chance with her health. Her leukine shots that she just loves, are being administrated to help with getting her white blood cells increased. Now that the fever has kicked in, they will have to get the leukine and platelets to work overtime!

- Get her platelet counts up
- Get any infections out
- Get her red blood counts up
- Get better and come home!!!
- Get her new haircut at the hospital
