Hair Tonic
One of my favourite cartoons is "The Rabbit Of Seville" by Warner Brothers featuring Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd. When Bugs is able to cause hair grow for Elmer due to a combination of ingredients, it is such fun to witness how Elmer's amazement turns to rage when his "hair" turns out to be flowers!
Both Rene and I don't expect her to grow flowers with the rapid growth we are witnessing with her hair at this moment. Now the chemo is over, we are seeing hair return to her head, eyebrows, and eye lashes. It seems a bit darker at the moment and we don't know what to expect when it is done.
She took it easy yesterday and relaxed despite the constant amount of college football games I watched. It is Saturday and October and therefore I do what any full-blooded Southern is conditioned to, watch SEC football games! She is not surprised, she married into this and after twenty years, she knows that she cannot change me.
The only nadir issue she is dealing with at the moment is one mouth ulcer and it is not something to be worried about at the moment. Tomorrow she will visit her oncologist for more blood work and then she will know how much longer the monitoring must occur.
