I'm Doing Laundry...

First Time

Last night Rene decided that she would tackle some type of housework and her choice was laundry. She was tired from this and felt a sense of accomplishment at the same time. I stayed out of her way and only assisted in areas that required heavy lifting and moving.

Her mouth sores are no longer bothering her and she does not require a special diet anymore. With the return of her hair, I have noticed that she is beginning to wear jewelry again. Later this week she will start testing the impact of long walks in the neighborhood.

Usually she would be fretting about getting ready for "next week", aka going back to the hospital. This is no longer required so she knows that now her ability to recover can truly begin. I have a feeling that we will need to a bookstore run in the near future, she can only handle small amounts of daytime television!
