Drying Is A Must

Even though her hair is just beginning to grow back, she noticed that it is long enough to require blow drying after a shower. Each day her hair continues to grow means it is another day that she getting back to normalcy within her life.

If her blood counts show improvement from this weekend, she may be free of any additional blood booster shots this week. The only thing she would have to do is come in for her final Rituxan at her oncologist's office and then have her P.E.T. scan.

The scan is the really important item that she needs to have in the near future. The results of this scan will determine the overall success of her treatments. If the remaining tumor cannot be found, she may move from being in remission to potentially cancer free at this time.

We are not going to get ahead of ourselves at the moment. One day at a time is how she is approaching this and she is feeling stronger each day. She is not ready to begin training in order to hike the Grand Canyon at this time; maybe March 2008 she could actually start her training however!
