Promising Signs
Despite having a sore mouth at the moment, Rene is not having to worry about any high fevers at the moment. She continues to have a normal temperature and therefore shows that the medications and shots are working for her.
She only has a single sore in her mouth and what is different for her is that her entire mouth feels sore when she eats. This is almost forcing her to consider either a soft or liquid diet and she is determined to eat solid foods very slowly if she has to.
She is craving true foods that is tasty and since I made fresh pesto sauce last night with pasta, she took her time eating and enjoyed it. Since she has experienced this problem before, she is more annoyed than concerned about it. She can always have a couple of protien shakes throughout the day also.
