Tiring Stuff

Accepting Reality

Since Rene is free of hospital stays and daily trips to her oncologist, she is far from being completely recovered from her lymphoma. Now she must wade through the fine line of trying to do too much in a given day. She realized this from yesterday when she spent four days at a church tea and was unable to attend a Halloween party the same evening.

It is important for her to understand the role of nutrition and exercise to her overall health and recovery from chemo. Right now she cannot expect to do major things on a daily basis, instead it may be every other day instead for the next three months.

Overall I think she will trot instead of run into life in the foreseeable future. Since she is not obligated to stay in the hospital for treatment, she can figure out how to proceed with life. The scary part of what must occur to cure her is over, now how she will live must take over.
