Great Blood Counts

Yesterday another oncologist from her doctor's office assessed Rene and felt that her counts were high enough for her to go home. We are both shocked by this because her nadir always comes when you least expect it! She will put her oncologist "through the wringer" today about this one.

She will leave if she only is fully recovered from the chemo! She doesn't want to speak the next several days going back and forth to a doctor's office for monitoring! Since this is her last treatment, she wants to make sure that when she goes home, she can enjoy her time home.

Keeping up with her daily Scrabble games, she made sure that I played at least one game with her. After the game was done, she then requested lunch from the outside!

It is funny to watch how much thicker the hair is beginning to become on her head. We will be surprise if it returns without being different based on feedback about how hair changes. We are dealing with Rene so she could end up with the same type of hair just to be different.
