Sores, Fevers, Nadir....
Yesterday Rene discovered that she had a slight fever that was at 100 and her oncologist is determine to keep her out of the hospital! He knows the scar tissue he will receive with that statement; I love a man that learns how to avoid "wife bombs"!
By the evening her temperature was below 100 so I think we don't have to really worry at the moment. Get to takes antibiotics along with her daily shots and that should work for her. I decided that I would wade into the scary world of "girlfriend speak" and ask how she felt about her latest episode of treatment.
Overall she is accepting of this little setback and she would prefer that it did not happen at all. I think she was very happy that I asked her about her feelings. This "girlfriend speak" is not "manly" and I will not be able to always do this!
